Temporary residence in Serbia
If you are a foreign citizen, this service allows you to submit a request for approval or extension of temporary residence in the Republic of Serbia electronically, from the country and abroad. Using this service implies that you have a registered account on the eGovernment Portal, which you access with a username and password.

To successfully submit the request, please prepare the following:
- scanned first page of a personal or official travel document
- proof of possession of sufficient means of subsistence during the planned stay in the Republic of Serbia
- proof of health insurance during the planned stay in the Republic of Serbia
- scanned evidence depending on the basis on which the request is submitted and which are marked as mandatory fields in the service itself
You can apply on the basis of employment, education, study, specialization, professional training and internship, scientific research or other scientific and educational activities, family reunification, religious service and ownership of real estate.
All notifications regarding the submitted request will be sent to the e-mail address specified in the request.
Are there any fees to be paid?
Yes, the service involves the payment of appropriate administrative fees for approval, i.e. extension of temporary residence that can be paid electronically with all payment cards (Visa, Master, Maestro, and Dina cards) and via electronic banking.
